This may be a minisforum issue more than an issue with this project, but wake from sleep is spotty both on this and the official device. While keyboards work every time.
I've included the video I shared on Reddit demonstrating it not working.
This is as of commit

@safijari commented on GitHub (Jun 15, 2026):
This is with modern standby?
@aramadanici commented on GitHub (Jun 16, 2026):
+1 to keep track of this and help with testing if there is interest. My board is still on the way from China unfortunately.
I use an UM890 Pro and it uses modern standby (S0).

Steam told me they have forwarded the issue to their hardware team. Minisforum told me they have provided feedback to the frontend testing engineer (whatever that means). If i hear back from them I make sure to let you know. Maybe the feedback is useful for you as well.

Below you can find the USB topology in case it helps.

@safijari commented on GitHub (Jun 18, 2026):
kindly test #58
@kmobs commented on GitHub (Jun 18, 2026):
I just tested it. Device will immediately wake with this patch and it also brought back the issue where it opens Edge at wake, regardless of whether the controller is connected or not. .
@kmobs commented on GitHub (Jun 19, 2026):
Actually that's not true. Computer was in a weird state or something. Restarting it solved it. Will test and get back to you! So far so good.
@kmobs commented on GitHub (Jun 19, 2026):
Seems to be working! Signal strength is worse on the promicro than the stock puck so I wake the computer and then switch to the other puck.
Often the controller will turn off immediately after waking the computer, but apparently this happens to some people with the stock puck too.
@kmobs commented on GitHub (Jun 19, 2026):
After a long, overnight, sleep it is still working.
@kmobs commented on GitHub (Jun 20, 2026):
Continues to work fine with your patch. Zero failures. I think you can mark this solved with the merge
@safijari commented on GitHub (Jun 22, 2026):
That's great to hear, lemme test a few other things and then I'll merge that PR.
@aramadanici commented on GitHub (Jun 22, 2026):
Received the board on Saturday, but I'm having trouble putting it into bootloader mode. When plugged in, the red and blue lights flash. I've tried double-shorting RST and GND, but it won't enter the bootloader, leaving me unable to test it.
@safijari commented on GitHub (Jun 23, 2026):
@aramadanici for a fresh flash you might not need to additionally put the board into dfu, it should show up on its own
@aramadanici commented on GitHub (Jun 24, 2026):
@safijari The device was not recognized by Windows. Also couldn't enter into dfu. After receiving a refund from Amazon, I ordered two replacement boards from AliExpress, which I hope to arrive by the middle of next week.
@safijari commented on GitHub (Jun 25, 2026):
The changes that fix this issue have been merged.
@aramadanici kindly start a discussion about your issues. I can try to help there.
@ludipraxa commented on GitHub (Jul 7, 2026):
@safijari this is @aramadanici with another account. My boards finally arrived, and I successfully flashed v0.9.17. While the controller works perfectly otherwise, it still won't wake my PC from sleep.
Here is what is happening:
When the PC is asleep, the board continuously blinks blue.
When I power on the controller, the red LED lights up for about a second, and then nothing else happens.
Do you have any ideas on what might be happening?
@ludipraxa commented on GitHub (Jul 8, 2026):
I updated to 0.9.22 but it still doesn't work.
Here a video:

@kmobs does it work for you on 0.9.22?
@safijari commented on GitHub (Jul 10, 2026):
Reopening because the core issue is not solved
@kmobs commented on GitHub (Jul 10, 2026):
@ludipraxa yes. Continues to work fine here. Make sure selective USB suspend and all that power saving stuff is disabled
