Thank you for creating OpenPuck.
In the interest of creating a seamless experience for myself, I was wondering if I can change the controller mode of OpenPuck using Powershell or similar.
While the hotkey is convenient, I'm basically looking to automate the process. I am using a launcher that lets me run commands before a game runs, so I'd be able to, for example, change the controller to native SDL mode for one game, Xbox mode for another, default mode for everything else.
If there is no current way to do this with Powershell, then consider this a feature request.
@safijari commented on GitHub (Sep 4, 2026):
You can put it into a CDC mode which allows for communication over serial and for doing exactly what you're describing programmatically. It's currently a "only on next boot" kind of thing but I can add a way to make it permanent (it might negatively impact accessing the webui)

No need to overcomplicate things on my account if it'll make things worse for everyone else.
Thanks for responding.
