Hello,
Lovely project! I made a case that is different from the existing models if you would be willing to add it to the readme. This case style is inspired by the puck itself along with a few design options when printing.

Love this one it's so cute.
Adding. Thanks so much.
@safijari commented on GitHub (Sep 3, 2026):
Hey, I printed this and it won't fully close 😅
@TheMeanCanEHdian commented on GitHub (Sep 3, 2026):
There is a shadow line built into the model by design to help avoid any visual issues since parts don't often print 100% within tolerance of each other (similar ideal to what you see with injection molding). Are you talking about that or a larger closing issue?

@TheMeanCanEHdian commented on GitHub (Sep 4, 2026):
@safijari how well does the board itself fit inside the bottom part? Do you do any shrinkage compensation with your material (I assume PLA)?
Edit: I will also look at increasing the tolerances on the connectors as well.
@TheMeanCanEHdian commented on GitHub (Sep 4, 2026):
Here are some photos of the expected fit in the bottom. My board has a tiny amount of play to move around when seated in the bottom.
@TheMeanCanEHdian commented on GitHub (Sep 8, 2026):
I updated the models on Printables to expand the tolerances of the connection by as much as possible without the connection getting loose.
Do let me know that helps along with if you do any shrinkage compensation.
Edit: You should only have to print the top piece again as that is where the tolerances were added.
@safijari commented on GitHub (Sep 8, 2026):
The updated files work perfectly It's so good!
My only concern is that it feels a bit insecure, in that it doesn't take a lot of force to open it again. Idk if that's an actual issue in practice tho.
@safijari commented on GitHub (Sep 8, 2026):
Wait, no it doesn't fit. Turns out the USB C port sits differently between different manufacturers. The Teyleten boards I have fit perfectly regardless. The DORHEA boards (linked in readme) do not.
@TheMeanCanEHdian commented on GitHub (Sep 8, 2026):
Oh I see. Let me update the Printables page to say that. Maybe I can get the measurements for the DORHEA board and add a version for that.
@TheMeanCanEHdian commented on GitHub (Sep 8, 2026):
@safijari there doesn't seem to be any proper full reference for dimensions online. It seems like the only real difference is the USB port height. Do you by any chance have calipers and can measure how far the bottom of the port is from the bottom of the board?
@TheMeanCanEHdian commented on GitHub (Sep 10, 2026):
Hey @safijari, based on pictures I made an initial test version for the DORHEA board. If you find the time please give it a try and report back <3. It's in the

@TheMeanCanEHdian commented on GitHub (Sep 11, 2026):
I got my hands on a DORHEA board and will work to make a case option for it.
@TheMeanCanEHdian commented on GitHub (Sep 11, 2026):
Alright, officially updated Printables with models for DORHEA. I tested on a board myself but would love if someone else could also test.
