Check that you're using the correct invite link that's on this Github readme.
If you're using a VPN, you have to disable it as the verification bot blocks VPNs.

Me too. I wasn’t originally in it on another account, and I wasn’t using a VPN either. I only verified and joined because I wanted the beta version of OptiScaler. Then I noticed the server disappeared from my list, and I could no longer receive an invite.
It seems that once banned, you can’t join anymore, so I can only assume I was banned without any explanation.
Um, My friend check the Optiscaler Discord for me, and apparently there was a button that would result in a ban if you clicked it without reading the prompt carefully. I might have accidentally clicked that button myself. I can't speak for others, but in my case, this appears to be my own mistake.

I get that the notifications of people asking for an unban might be annoying, but could you please still look at the amount of comments here for the past three months? Like, there is nowhere else for us to go to ask for an unban. We get banned just for using more than one account, or for using a VPN - how is that fair? We just want to get test versions of OptiScaler and maybe chat with other upscaler tech enthusiasts. Maybe at least offer some manual way to submit an appeal, to prove that we aren't bad actors? Might be worth mentioning that to people who make decisions on the server.
I personally left my comment more than a month ago, and been patiently waiting for an unban.

Hi @TheRazerMD , sorry for the trouble but could I appeal to get unban. Previously my account got compromised and probably sending out spam before I manage to change my password within that 10 minutes due to some silly mistake of me running powershell scripting that allowed access.

@TheRazerMD Would you also mind unbanning other people waiting here? The queue has got quite long already, and you go like unbanning one person per two months and then going silent. How are we supposed to get the newest updates about OptiScaler if we can't even access the server due to DC ban?
I also saw you commenting in other issues to PM you in Discord - but this isn't possible too, because we are banned from your server and there's no way to message you if we aren't in a common server with you.
Would you please make some appeal form somewhere or something? I personally have been waiting since February.
Might need to eventually recheck, but everyone here has more or less been unbanned silently in the matter of a couple of days since posting their comment (unless we've been busy or away at the time).

I can totally understand if maintainers are busy - after all, it's a hobby project done in free time, and I also get that neither of you owe us anything. I can wait as long as necessary (still banned on my new account - agts10k), but it would be nice to know that our requests are heard and we aren't just forgotten here.
There is no account with that name on our ban list atm, so it seems you've been unbanned already.
Albeit if you're unable to disconnect your VPN to pass the DC bot, then I would suggest joining the server, ignoring the bot verification and just DMing either a mod or me for manual verification.
I have no idea why am I blocked from joining then. I just tried, twice, from mobile and then from desktop - same result, Discord won't let me join, as you can see from the linked videos. I don't use VPN and I don't need it to use Discord.
DC bot blocked me because I authorized in it using my old account a long time ago, and then months later naively authorized in it again using my second account that I recently created to be my main. Both accounts got banned simultaneously, and I can no longer access the Discord server in any way.

@bchiom Another account was already flagged, so the only way to get back without instaban is joining the server, not touching the bot and contacting some staffer to manually verify you.
That's also valid for everyone else that didn't get banned as a result of crypto spam.
